Another good update from Brian!
Just thought I’d update you on the last few days. On Saturday, we were out for dinner at Giovanni’s, a restaurant based at the Eikendal winery. The meal was ok and as usual, we managed to get a few scenic photo’s.
On Monday, we travelled down to L’Agulhas which is the southernmost point of the African continent. We followed the Cape Whale Route for a large part of it – although this is not the whale watching season, which is between June and November – but takes you through coastal towns such as Gordon’s Bay, Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, Hermanus, Pringle Bay, Stanford and Gansbaai. The road then takes you inland (which unbeknown to us was on a gravel road for about 30km) before taking you back out to the coast again to Struisbaai which is another popular holiday resort and then a few km further on to L’Agulhas.
