West Coast National Park

With our America trip an (almost) distant memory and back in South Africa earlier and in colder weather than planned, we decided to take advantage of flower season and took a trip to the West Coast National Park near Langebaan a week or so ago. My sister Phyllis was nice enough to drive and we went on a slightly different road trip from the previous few months – though we did pack sandwiches! I’ve never been to see the flowers on the west coast and I’m really glad I finally got round to it as it is pretty impressive! It helped that it was a gorgeous warm and sunny day. Below is a small selection of pictures…I think they speak for themselves! Back in Stellenbosch we picked up our new car, complete with a ribbon!
