Saratoga Springs to Ithaca was another longish drive, and the weather prediction for Ithaca wasn’t great. We made it to Ithaca via another great diner, Bob’s Diner, in Bainbridge before getting into a wet Ithaca.
The main draw of Ithaca was the waterfalls and lakes in the surrounding area but with the rain and poor visibility (and my bad cold) we didn’t really fancy walking around in the rain too much. After a couple of hours of hoping the weather would clear we decided to just take in the sights of Ithaca town and had a great meal at Ithaca Ale House. The Fat Kid burger for Brian with two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a bun for the burger, and wings for me with Garbage sauce, which is a combination of all the sauces – Hot, Medium or Mild, Ale House, Spicy Gold BBQ, Hot Garlic, Garlic Parmesan, Hot Garlic BBQ.
